The Kellogg North America (KNA) Benefits Director leads the strategy, design, and development of programs and policies related to Medical Benefits, Retirement Benefits, Wellness, and Leave & Absence Management for North America.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

In your role as a Director, Benefits at Kellogg, you will be part of our success by

  • Supporting the development of a Total Rewards Program strategy as it relates to Health Care Benefits, Retirement Benefits, Wellness, and Leave & Absence Management

  • Overseeing the implementation of a regional Benefits strategy working with the GBS Regional Center, HR Business Leadership, and Business Unit leadership

  • Managing annual medical benefits budget and team’s budget

  • Managing a team of two associates and providing guidance and support to them leading to an enriched Kellogg career

  • Influencing and providing leadership for implementing policies, processes, practices and tools

  • Focusing on HR outcomes that will have the biggest impact on the business

  • Serving as a change agent, bringing in new and innovative ways of working

  • Proactively designing and developing strategic HR policies, programs, and tools for all categories and functions

  • Driving for manager and employee adoption of HR technology, service delivery model and programs. Directs HR inquiries to the most efficient and effective resource (technology, service center, etc.)

  • Ensuring collaboration between TR team and other COEs and the GBS organization in planning, design and delivery of new programs or program changes

  • Fully utilizing Kellogg change methodology for implementation of new programs and program changes. Serving as a change agent, bringing in new and innovative ways of working

WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?

As well as a hunger to learn and succeed in Human Resources, to be considered for this position you must be able to meet the following requirements:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or International Equivalent in Business, Human Resources or related field

  • Significant experience in progressively more responsible roles in benefit design and program management

Preferred:

  • Health Care knowledge and experience

  • Master’s Degree or International Equivalent in Business, Human Resources, or related field

  • Professional Association designations/certifications in Total Rewards (e.g. W@W )

  • Extensive years of experience in the Benefit area

  • Experience in a large multinational company

  • People Management experience

WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO KNOW?

Travel for this role will be approximately 10%
