WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

In your role as a Senior Manager, Shopper Insights - East Region at Kellogg, you will be part of our success by:

  • Collaborating and working as a committed business partner with functional team leaders

  • Owning strategic consultancy for internal and external stakeholders that identifies opportunities, helps formulate open business questions, recommends research methodologies, and writes research plans and proposals

  • Making methodological and research design recommendations

  • Conducting primary and secondary research including writing requests for proposals, supplier selection and management, and report writing. Owning the research process from stating objectives, design and execution through to interpretation, implementation and commercialization

  • Interpreting research findings and summarizing data analyses into actionable insights that address stakeholder objectives

  • Mining existing research and consumer data on a regular basis to communicate insights synthesized from multiple sources and different data sets, with the ability to diagnose issues and challenges from the data

  • Partnering closely with other team members within Consumer Insights to ensure appropriate synergies, efficiencies, and best practices are consistent

WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?

As well as a hunger to learn and succeed in Marketing, to be considered for this position you must be able to meet the following requirements:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree with significant related traditional consumer research and shopper/channel insights experience.

  • Ability to tell a story using Syndicated Data and analytics (dunnhumby, Nielsen, etc.) in addition to other research tools

  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to influence and present effectively.

  • Project and time management skills

  • Proven computer skills and database management.

Preferred:

  • Previous CPG experience

  • Primary research experience

  • Syndicated data skills

  • Experience with traditional CPG research

WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO KNOW?

Travel up to 20% is possible
