Kellogg Intern - Sales - Summer 2018 in United States

Grow with us in our Sales Internship Program and play a role working as part of a dedicated team of people who are passionate about the Kellogg brand! You will be accountable for applying key learnings to successfully assist and execute sales programs to satisfy our customer needs and drive sales.


As determined by your skills and experiences, your role as a Sales Intern at Kellogg will entail either of the following roles:

  • Partnering with the Retail Sales Team to gain experience in retail stores by performing sales, merchandising, and customer connection techniques

  • Assisting our Account, Category Management, and Business Planning Teams with customer business plans and processes

Both internship assignments will provide and enhance the intern's ability to:

  • Develop critical Business Communication Skills

  • Understand various Go-to-Market strategies

  • Analyze customer business and performance

  • Sell/influence others to make decisions based on facts

  • Demonstrate leadership skills within a large organization

  • Present key business solutions to executive leadership


As well as a hunger to learn and succeed in Sales, to be considered for this position you must be able to meet the following requirements:


  • Student must complete sophomore year of Bachelor’s degree program from an accredited college or university by start of internship (May 2018)

  • Valid driver license and clean driving record

  • Minimum of 3.0 GPA

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Ability to conduct physical work, frequently lifting 20 -25 pounds

  • Able to accommodate up to 20% travel (at least 2 overnight trips required)

  • Demonstrate leadership roles held in school/volunteer clubs/organizations

  • Flexible to be relocated to multiple geographies for the internship & post-graduate full-time opportunities


The role requires daily travel within an assigned geography. Mileage will be reimbursed.

Work requires long periods of walking, standing, bending or carrying moderately heavy items (20-25 pounds) with or without reasonable accommodations.
