In your role as a Sales Representative, you will be part of our success by:

  • Selling, negotiating, and executing business plans through fact-based selling techniques to achieve win-win results

  • Identifying selling opportunities to grow Kellogg Sales during each store visit

  • Growing base sales through maximizing distribution, increasing share of shelf and ensuring Planogram integrity

  • Selling creative displays to be placed at optimal locations, maximizing sales

  • Selling incrementally to support ads and brand marketing activity

  • Selling in Kellogg innovation and gaining proper shelf placement

  • Optimizing retail coverage patterns

  • Identify opportunities, and communicating to merchandising resources

  • Developing trusted customer relationships by anticipating customer needs; providing solutions and guidance related to business opportunities


As well as a hunger to learn and succeed in Sales, to be considered for this position you must be able to meet the following requirements:


  • Strong problem solving, influence, and negotiation skills

  • Demonstrated use of excellent interpersonal skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency working in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint


  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field

  • Minimum of 3.0 GPA (cumulative)

  • Intermediate technology skills such as Microsoft Office Applications, Internet, Cellular use

  • Flexible to be relocated to multiple geographies for post-graduate full-time placement


  • This position provides participation in the Kellogg Vehicle Reimbursement or Fleet Program

  • Ability to drive to multiple locations throughout a regular work day

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

  • Work requires long periods of walking, standing, bending or carrying moderately heavy items (20-25 pounds) with or without reasonable accommodations Extended work schedule which may include some night, weekend and early morning hours
