Grow with us as a Brand Manager. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Brand Manager to join our busy Marketing team. In a consumer focused organisation, this Brand Manager role reporting to the Marketing Manager, will lead and execute all elements of the Marketing Mix for a growing category to positively impact the top and bottom line of the business.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

In your role as Brand Manager - Snack at Kellogg Korea, you will be part of our success by

  • Prepare and agree the annual volume and investment plan for the brands managed. On an ongoing basis, monitor and review this plan to ensure performance vs. objectives and efficient use of resources to achieve the established goals

  • Work with the internal counter part (Innovation, trade marketing & sales team), creative agency, media agency locally ensuring the most efficient use of investment through a variety of communication channels

  • Work with Regional Innovation manager to get stage gate approval and prepare and execute Innovation launch plans in market.

  • Initiate to propose the research and/or help execute local research projects as required

  • Undertake brand analysis as requested as part of the annual planning cycle

  • Work closely with Trade Marketing, KAM and sales in local market for Marketing Operation to ensure effective execution of actions at point of sale

  • Continuously monitor brand performance and competitor activity, proactively reacting to changes and threats; be able to provide estimations and forecasting about volume and share

  • Manage the day-to-day business processes for the brands to ensure effective and efficient business management (e.g. budget management, IBP process, Category Review process, etc.)

  • Respond to data requests from Area Marketing as required

  • Ensuring clear direction given to other Dept. and co-workers (Brand Operation team) and all Talent Management Processes are followed.

  • Lead execution of trial & marketing activations

  • Pringles: Step change local trial & marketing plans on KR Snacks with better IEP and insights

  • Provide expert leadership and guidance to Singapore and their agency partners on all aspects of local trial & marketing activations

  • local consumer insights

  • local market understandings on media & trends on trial

  • local alliance partners to make the trial program bigger

  • local trade activations to be linked with ATL activities

WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?

As well as proven success in a similar role and a hunger to learn, you must be able to meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Must be bilingual and able to communicate effectively in both Korean and English

  • Minimum 6 years classic blue chip FMCG marketing experience.

  • Self-motivated, highly flexible and takes the initiative to do what’s needed

  • Ability to provide clear leadership and direction to cross-functional teams and present outputs to a broad range of internal and external customers

  • Strong oral, written communication, and presentation skills

  • Expert of major ATL activities (TV campaign, PowerPlay) and BTL activities

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to make actionable recommendations

  • Experience managing a P&L

You will frequently work in dynamic, tight deadline situations to plan, present, and monitor projects.
