As Maintenance, Repairs & Operations Clerk on the Kellogg manufacturing team, you’ll play a crucial role in overseeing the inventory of MRO maintenance materials to support the maintenance activities of the plant. This includes equipment and building structures & systems. You will plan and collaborate with the MRO Supervisor, while ensuring your areas of responsibility are operated in a safe and well organized environment. HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Coordinating the Moving Parts – The MRO Coordinator over sees the inventory of MRO maintenance materials to support the maintenance activities of the plant. This includes equipment and building structure/systems. Directs storeroom procedures and inventory control of MRO materials and spare parts.
Delivering the Goods – To achieve this objective, you will support the Maintenance Supervisors/Planners/Technicians by delivering parts from shipping, receiving them, and then staging parts for planned work. You will control inventory movements by cycle counting and establishing accurate equipment bill of materials
Following all GMP and Food Safety practices – Ensures areas of responsibility are operated in a safe and well organized environment. Maintain files and coordinate with accounts payable to ensure paperwork is processed per control procedures. Audit maintenance materials to ensure HAZCOM/MSDS policy compliance.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
High School Diploma or GED
2+ years of experience in a maintenance department required
2+ years of experience in inventory control maintenance MRO materials required.
Forklift experience required
Excellent organization, interpersonal and analytical skills
Proficient with relevant (SAP, Word, Excel, Access) computer programs
- 2 years related experience with MRO
