We have an opportunity for you to grow with us as a Director of IT – Data Strategy & Analytics in our Oak Brook, IL or Battle Creek, MI location.
HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
The Director of Data Strategy & Analytics would craft the strategy and vision for Kellogg’s approach to transformative data opportunities. S/he will be responsible for planning, designing, implementing, and managing an integrated data framework for internal as well as external data sources. S/he will ensure that a data-driven culture is integrated within the fabric of the Company’s digital transformation strategy.
Strategic Leadership & Business Partnership : Collaborate with business leaders, domain owners and data scientists to uncover data gaps and identify, refine and size potential growth opportunities with a view to enabling unencumbered access to data for various business and IT stakeholders.
Execution and Delivery: Analyze internal and external data sources – people data, customer data, partner data and contextual data – and direct & guide your team to implement the most effective method for ingestion, harmonization and organization of data streams in Kellogg’s global analytics platform.
Lead and Mentor: As a Director, lead a team of data architects and data engineers and use your influence to drive optimal solutions aligned to your vision and data strategy in the most efficient and cost effective manner. Mentor less-experienced individuals.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
High School Diploma or GED and extensive related experience
Extensive related experience in the areas of IT and business, with knowledge of Data Analytics and Strategy
Proven experience uncovering insights and understand how to connect disparate data sets.
The ability to communicate effectively and succinctly, both verbally and on paper, and with all levels of an organization. Along with a proven track record of engaging, influencing and aligning senior executives.
Experience managing teams and building relationships with people at a variety of levels
Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
Experience in CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) industry
Travel expected up to 30%.
