HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Collaborative, Innovative, and Productive - You’ll manage engineering resources to deliver the business portfolio of projects and initiatives while driving a high performance work culture that is consistent with K-Values; your strong ability to partner will be key in engaging Engineering Business Partners to understand capital project portfolio, develop long term platform strategy, and drive short term priorities in order to effectively support the business requests

  • Strong Leadership - Recruiting, coaching, and mentoring those in engineering to develop future technical and managerial leaders

  • Technological Capabilities - Directing the evaluation and adaptation of new technology and the development of special purpose process or packaging equipment to drive new opportunities for supply chain improvements in cost, quality, and flexibility

  • Cross-Functional Support - for GTO (Global Technology Ownership) cross-functional technical teams to drive global collaboration, standardization and innovation in specific technologies as well as leveraging suppliers, consultants, universities, etc. to extend the technical capability of global engineering

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

Required:

  • Owner’s mindset and entrepreneurial spirit!

  • We need your expertise - Do you have substantial experience in a technical role related to packaging and/or processing equipment & manufacturing?

  • Significant capital project experience in a process and/or packaging role or in the food industry

  • Creativity and Imagination to design full packaging lines and/or full processing lines

  • Experienced collaborator needed!

  • Skilled understanding of equipment control functions and equipment capability for multiple unit operations.

  • Do others follow your lead? Ability to work through others to manage and mentor employees

Bonus Points:

  • Kellogg experience? We want you!

  • BS degree in in Engineering (or related field) and extensive work related experience

  • Being an example of proven technical and organizational leadership

  • Worked in a Plant environment? End to End Supply Chain Knowledge will be an asset

  • Experience with process and/or packaging operations beyond the food industry
