We have an opening for you to grow with us as a Lead IT Operations Analyst – Global Business Services (GBS) in our Battle Creek, MI location. This critical role will have accountability to guide work working with our Managed Service Provider (MSP), and with members of the business and broader IT organization. You will work with our vendor, ensuring delivery, solutions and customer satisfaction levels are within specified Service Level Agreements, financial parameters, and business models.
HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Client Care & Fostering Relationships -Participating in early project engagement activities where (Vendor) is involved. Establish and drive enhancement prioritization across multiple business functions aligning to enterprise and team standards for monitoring production, outputs, and services. Ensuring SLAs and other quality metrics are met and escalating and communicating issues when necessary.
Metrics and Compliance -Adhering to all policies, procedures and standards (including platform security, change management, and audit processes). Holding regular weekly reviews with MSP providers and regional leads.
Leading people and teams :
- Partnering with the business, vendors, and other IT teams to ensure quality service and also managing teams of 1st and / or 2nd level support.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
Required Skills :
High School Diploma or GED
Broad technical knowledge of End User Computing Hardware & Software including MS Office suite, and of Networking, to guide decision making, enhancement requests and ensure sustainment activities
Experience leading and managing teams
Extensive reporting and analytical skills
Excellent communication skills, spanning written, verbal, and presentation areas
Demonstrated ability to identify, analyze, communicate and resolve issues
Experience working both independently and as part of a team
Strong interpersonal skills for great relationships within IT and business teams
Experience managing IT Vendors
Bonus Points :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Related field
Experience working in a global IT organization
Experience working with formal project management methodologies or ITIL
