Kellogg Senior Director, Global Inclusion & Diversity in BATTLE CREEK, Michigan

As Senior Director, Global Inclusion & Diversity (I&D), you’ll work directly with a senior leadership team that is deeply committed to becoming a more inclusive and diverse organization that represents our consumers.

If you have proven experience developing an integrated, global I&D strategy that spans all aspects of the employee experience and talent agenda as well as business areas like communications, procurement, philanthropy, and public affairs, we want to meet you! Now it’s up to you.


Driving Global Strategies: You’ll be responsible for leading the overarching strategy, direction and implementation of global I&D programs and integration of principles into programs designed by a global, multi-disciplinary HR and business teams. Included areas of focus are:

  • Developing an enterprise-wide I&D data strategy to drive insights and action across the employee lifecycle

  • Collaborating with senior leadership and partners to develop and implement programs to support our inclusion and diversity journey

  • Assessing and measuring progress on key metrics across the employee lifecycle. You’ll be partnering with our People Analytics teams to create innovative I&D measurements and tools for executive leadership.

  • Representing Kellogg’s I&D vision to internal and external partners

  • Providing thought leadership and coaching to B/ERG sponsors and leads evolve their contribution for employees and the business

  • Building relationships with other companies and organizations to share best practices and identify emerging trends, risks, and opportunities

  • Identifying and prioritizing investments to advance the organization’s strategy, brand and learnings

  • Developing relationships with regulators and manage compliance as it relates to I&D. Liaising with the Legal and/or Government Relations/Public Affairs teams as necessary

Team leadership: You’ll be leading and building strong-identity teams that apply their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals. You’ll also be developing our people to meet both their career goals and the organizations goals and driving engagement by creating a climate where people are motivated to do their best to help the organization achieve its objectives

Budget Management: You’ll be overseeing the department budget and consistently achieving results all while remaining resilient even under tough circumstances



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field

  • Extensive experience in the Global Inclusion and Diversity space

  • Experience effectively leading Inclusion & Diversity and driving tangible results

  • Experience leading global teams

  • Experience in other areas of HR (e.g., Talent, Business-facing HR) and/or experience working in a non-HR business function (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain)

Bonus Points:

  • Master’s degree in OD, Human Resources, or a closely related field

  • Experience leading large-scale change

  • Analytics experience

  • Experience with HR technology
