HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Trade Strategy - Driving and championing the ongoing development and execution of category RGM strategies will be an important aspect of your responsibilities. You will be accountable for the analysis of trade spending from a category perspective with the overall objective of maximizing the efficiency and effectiveness of trade funding/account promotions.
Pricing Architecture - Driving visibility of compliance to pricing architecture and promoted price strategy from a category perspective will be key to your success.
Account Support – You will assist the field based Trade Strategy Team in the achievement of account trade budgets. This position identifies volume and/or trade spend shortfalls and recommends promotional opportunities that cost effectively address gaps to both Net Sales Volume (NSV) and Sales Contribution Margin (SCM).
Business Analytics – Your analytical mindset will serve you well as you integrate a variety of data sources to understand category trade performance at category, brand, channel, and account level. Developing category, competitive and pricing insights will be necessary as you maximize promotional efficiencies for the Kellogg Sales Team you support.
Internal Collaboration – Working with internal business partners you will influence and coordinate the efforts of various groups to maximize the return of Kellogg’s Investment. These groups include but are not limited to,Commercial Strategy, Sales, Sales Finance, and Sales Planning.
People Management – Utilizing your leadership skills you will be responsible for the professional development of two team members.

Excellent verbal and written communicationskills required to influence key stakeholders
Strong understanding of the selling processand the route to market across multiple channels
Solid working knowledge of Profit & Lossstatements and drivers of profitable growth
Provenstrong analytical skills and business analysis experience
Ability to retrieve, merge, understand andinterpret data from numerous sources
Advancedcomputer skills including high level proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Extensive CPG industry experience
Customer Account ManagementExperience
TradePromotions Management (TPM) and Business Warehouse experience
Nielsen (Answers On Demand) proficiency
Solutions based mind set and ability to sell and influence ideasinternally and externally
It is highly preferred that the ideal candidate will reside in the Battle Creek area to enable face to face interaction with category teams at HQ.
