In this Senior Manager – Supply Chain Development – Procurement & Sustainability – Kashi role you will lead our supply chain efforts around development and execution of the Kashi Sustainability Strategy, including building capability on transparency and responsible sourcing. Collaborating with internal teams and be the Kashi single point of contact to and for the Kellogg’s procurement and sustainability teams.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

In your role as Supply Chain Development - Procurement & Sustainability – Kashi, you will be part of our success by:

  • Being a member of the Kashi Supply Chain Leadership Team with the responsibility of supporting the total Kashi strategic agenda and providing senior level leadership and guidance for the entire organization

  • Leading team efforts to proactively develop new ingredient and packaging supply chains to enable agility and speed for future Kashi innovation. Overseeing strategy for resolution of chronic tactical ingredient supply issues. Ensure Innovation plans are grounded in Procurement and supply chain reality.

  • Creating direction with Kellogg Procurement leadership which aligns with Kashi’s innovation and on-going portfolio needs.

  • Leading development and execution of the Kashi Co Sustainability Strategy that aligns with our Values, Strengthens Credibility, and Drives the company performance.

  • Creating best-in-class transparency systems and responsible sourcing programs within Kellogg company driving participation and expansion of the Certified Transitional program. Internal strategist, education lead and external activist.

  • Embedding sustainability in Kashi employees’ IQ for brand reputation, consciousness and employee engagement and retention.

  • Accountable for effectively leading, driving and managing change in a rapidly growing, highly dynamic environment.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?

As well as a hunger to learn and succeed in Kashi Supply Chain, to be considered for this position you must be able to meet the following requirements:

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree and frequently demonstrated years of experience in supply chain, operations or manufacturing

  • Frequently demonstrated experience in related fields including experience with Sustainability, Responsible Sourcing, Procurement, and/or Project Management

  • Strong problem solving, negotiating, and decision making skills with the proven ability to manage complex situations

  • Ability to multi-task and deal with continuously changing priorities

  • Proven success at influencing others to deliver results and create winning team culture

Preferred

  • Ability to partner with leaders of other functional areas and business partners to drive overall site performance in a manner that aligns with our company values

  • Knowledge of Innovation and RQT processes

WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO KNOW?

Ability to travel approximately 20 - 25% of the time, both domestic and international.
