As a Temporary Student Support on the Kellogg Global Real Estate Services team, you will be performing a mixture of administrative duties and ongoing project support work. Intrigued yet? You will be working at our Battle Creek K2 building. Now, lets achieve something great together.

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • The Daily Grind – assist the Real Estate team on a daily basis and provide input on process improvement

  • You’re Part of a Team – you will provide the necessary assistance and back-upto your fellow team members

  • Special Projects – initial layouts for current and future design projects while assisting with annual facility maintenance and rent payment budgets for distribution centers and sales offices. Create and track purchase orders for facility management projects

  • And you have to be able to juggle – Multiple and conflicting priorities will come up under specific time constraints. You have to be quick to act when these issues arise.Provide ongoing property and facilities management support. Prepare Excel spreadsheets as required for tracking projects

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

Required:

  • At least sophomore standing

  • Pursuing degree in business related field (finance focus) or other related field at an accredited institution

  • Enrolled in at least 6 credit hours

  • Must live within a commutable distance to the work location

  • Minimum of 3.0 GPA (Cumulative)

  • Available for 20 hours/week (minimum of 4 hours in a given day)

  • Available for 12-36 month assignment

Bonus Points:

  • Ability to be flexible, multi-task and work independently

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally

  • Detail oriented with the ability to take direction

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and the ability to learn new software quickly

  • Ability to work within timelines and in pressure situations with a diverse customer base (Kellogg business leaders, Kellogg Finance, landlords, property managers, service suppliers)

  • Ability to come to work on time and to work according to the agreed-upon schedule to meet job requirements is an essential function of this position
