Kellogg Labor Relations Advisor in BATTLE CREEK PLANT, Michigan
Do you enjoy “conflict resolution” and driving employee engagement? As a Labor Relations Advisor, you will serve as part of the Human Resources Team at the Plant and will handle employee complaints, grievance processing, employee discipline, etc. You will also interface with the Plant Staff including Supervisors, Managers, Generalist/Schedulers and Hourly employees as appropriate. HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Set the Pace – You’ll drive the overall management of Employee Relations activities for the plant including: Handling employee complaints, employee grievances, employee discipline and promoting and expanding positive employee relationships on-site.
Collaboration is Key – You’ll serve as liaison between Site HR Manager, Kellogg North America Manufacturing Business Unit HRBP and Global Business Services (GBS) as appropriate.
Fresh Thinking - You’ll partner with front line supervisors in HR policy, conflict resolution, relationship building, employee/labor relations, etc. which will require a high level of discretion and independent operation.
Tools for Success - Driving manager and employee adoption of HR technology, service delivery model and programs. Redirects HR inquiries to the most efficient and effective resource (technology, service center, etc.)
Agility - You’ll assist with other HR Generalist activities not defined including employee engagement activities, crew scheduling, labor relations meetings, etc.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
High school diploma with significant manufacturing experience
Experience in the Human Resources field
Proficiency using Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Word, Excel, etc.)
Data analytic skills
Flexible working hours
Associate’s degree in HR or a related field
General knowledge of food industry and manufacturing practices
Experience using Kronos/Ceridian
Experience using SAP
