Kellogg Finance Analyst in BUCHAREST, Romania

Our GBS Service Centre for Europe is located at Floreasca Business Centre (adjacent to Aurel Vlaicu Metro) and now we want you to join us as we continue our growth in Romania. The key purpose of this role is to add value to the Finance function by controlling and managing the central Advertising & Promotional investment; working with Brand managers to ensure the financial integrity of the BB spends for both Cereal & Snacks.


  • Financial control and management of central Advertising & Promotional Investment, including Actuals, Forecasting, Budget Planning, Risks & Opportunities;

  • Conduct reviews with Brand managers, update Advertising & Promotional trackers, obtain sign-offs and manage system loads and reconciliations within the accounting Policies;

  • Ensure a high level of control on the overall process, managing S404 deliverables;

  • Actively managing relevant balance sheet accounts to ensure items are not overly aged & are actioned;

  • Support the Planning in ERP systems, working with Corporate Planning, Corporate Reporting, and Europe IT as necessary. Manage the integrity of the database through frequent reconciliations;

  • Drive continuous improvement across relevant processes;

  • Work on Advertising & Promotional Special projects and ad hoc analysis, as required.



  • University Degree in Finance/Business-Related field +2/3 years of related work experience;

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office - Word, PowerPoint, Access and deep Excel skills

  • Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills and attention to detail;

  • Takes ownership for his/her own work and actively seeks for improvement opportunities;

  • Experience of working in a fast paced, cross functional environment with tight turnaround times for deliverables;

  • Travel mobility required;

  • Fluent English- verbal and written.


  • Proficient knowledge of ERP and other financial planning systems (e.g. SAP);

Knowledge of Anaplan would be an advantage;

  • Experience of working effectively in a virtual/multi-cultural team environment;

  • Experience of working in a Commercial environment preferably for an FMCG.


May be required to work an alternative schedule to support different time zones
