Kellogg Human Resources Generalist/ Crew Scheduler – Off Shift in CARY, North Carolina

Are you passionate about assisting people with the “behind the scenes stuff” so that they can be fully engaged with their job? As a Human Resource Generalist/ Crew Scheduler, at our Cary, NC Plant, you’ll collaborate with many diverse people and perspectives. We’ll lean on you to leverage your attention to detail and multitasking skills to strategize on operating plans and impact the bottom line with forward thinking. Excited for what lies ahead?   • DriveEfficiency – We want the facility to operate at peakefficiency, so you’ll contribute to efficient operations and maintainlabor relations by accurately scheduling employees according to theplant’s collective bargaining agreements.

  • Collaborationis Key – You’ll have the chance to be “hands on” bypartnering with Shift Operations to process production paperwork, assistwith the hourly bidding process, issue attendance disciplines, andresearch grievances and complaints.

  • Set the Pace – Getting new employeesoff to a great start sets the pace. You’ll prepare training materials andmaintain documentation for new hire orientations, safety training, and jobspecific training. Let’s not forget the,“fun stuff”, coordinating Employee Engagement events/activities.



  • Provenstrong ability to work independently and execute written instructionsand/or procedures

  • Demonstratedcommitment to customer service and needs of the business

  • Excellentwritten, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Effectiveorganizational and time management skills

  • Abilityto support 1 st , 2 nd and 3 rd shift andwork rotating weekends

  • Intermediateto advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Programs, including Excel,PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook

Bonus Points:

  • PreviousHuman Resources (HR) experience in a manufacturing setting

  • Understandingof Human Resources (HR) metrics, practices and processes

  • Previousexperience working with a labor agreement in a union environment

  • Previousexperience in a busy manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment

  • Previousexperience with Kronos (Workforce Central with Planner) or a similarsystem

  • Bachelor'sDegree or International Equivalent

  • Exposureto EEOC and Title VII regulations
