You will be collaborating with Maintenance, Engineering, Operations, Quality Food Safety and Environmental Health and Safety personnel. HERE’S A TASTE OF WHATYOU’LL BE DOING

  • Maintaining Equipment andAmplifying your PLC knowledge– Youwill be constantly alternating in betweentroubleshooting,preventative maintenance, and on the spot machine repair. You will need afirm focus and understanding of programmable logic controllers. Thisperson must be creative in their solutions without being unclear in theirdocumentation.

  • Analyzing Conditions andProviding Solutions -Identifying and examining production equipment failures to understand rootcause analysis, with the help of interpreting schematics and drawings.Investigating and repairing electrical & mechanical systems such as:pneumatics, drives and hydraulics, and conveyors.

  • Prioritizing Innovation andCommunication - Activelyseeking ways to improve plant efficiency and cost savings and maintainingan open dialogue with leads and supervisors regarding day-to-dayactivities.

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

Required:

  • High School diploma or GED

  • 5 years of experience in mechanicaland electrical trade in a highly technical manufacturing environment

  • Previous maintenance experiencewith medium and low voltage electrical, PLC and PC, control and safety circuits, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems

  • Operate a laptop, PLC and HMIprogramming software such as Allen Bradley, B&R Automation, and GE Fanuc.

  • Basic computer skills includingMicrosoft Office

  • Demonstrated knowledge ofbehavior based safety systems

  • Sitting, standing, walking,lifting and / or repetitive tasks throughout the day. Employee willbe required to occasionally lift up to 50lbs

Bonus Points:

  • Associate's degree

  • Previous experience working in a food manufacturing plant
