ProcessOptimization – Keeping the plant production processes efficientis your main objective, working through a lens of improving process flow,reduced inventory costs, area loss reduction, and implementingefficiency-promoting practices. Plan on partnering with other key functions onexecuting projects including R&D, the Manufacturing Reliability team, the ContinuousImprovement team, and autonomous maintenance team.
Leadershipby Example & Coaching – Your leadership and coaching skills willbe put to good use as you develop high performing teams through Kellogg WorkSystems (KWS) tools that identify and analyzes losses to develop solutions andcontrol plans.
KPI’sand Work Standards – As a goal oriented person, KPI’s are the peanutbutter to your jelly, making it easy to develop, implement and track progressthroughout the plant. Work like anowner by developing and leading Plant Manufacturing Standards for theproduction lines.
DrivingBest Practices –You will learn best practices along the way, so besure to share your key learnings as they come. We need your expertcommunication skills to ensure we replicate operation excellence across allshifts and lines.
TechnicalSupport – We know you are technically sound, don’t be afraidto provide your professional support on production processes, equipment requirementsfor raw materials and finished goods, standards and specifications.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
Strong product and process optimization skills
Experienced with manufacturing environments including safety, ingredient management, manufacturing processes, packaging processes, quality & food safety, GMP and Lean Six Sigma principles.
Ability to define, develop, and implement complex product and process optimization projects utilizing Kellogg Work Systems
Proven success at influencing others to deliver results and create winning team culture
Consumer Package Good, Food, or Beverage industry experience
Six Sigma Certified
Experienced in Integrated Work Systems (IWS) model and concepts
