Reporting to the Region Retail Sales Director – Wal-Mart you will be joining a high performing and collaborative team. HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Leadership – As a Sales Manager you will develop and lead a team of 12 Sales Representatives. You will set your team up for success by developing and ensuring training for sales representatives and all third party vendors focusing on the implementation of the account’s strategy, goals and selling objectives.

  • Account Development – This position supports a dynamic customer base. You will align with the customer teams and lead your team to execute annual retail plans that deliver profitable sales, distribution and display goals.

  • Strategic Partnerships – Driving best in class collaboration between the Retail and Account Teams will be key to our success.

  • Analytics – Knowing your business will be imperative in driving sales growth. You will be responsible for monitoring Retail performance metrics to drive agreed upon results. Meeting with the Account Teams you will conduct monthly and quarterly Retail Execution reviews.

  • Talent Recruitment – We believe careers need room to grow. That is where you come in by recruiting, hiring and training top talent.

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

Required:

  • High School Diploma/GED

  • Significant Sales Experience

  • Account ManagementExperience

  • Experience communicatingcomplex and/or detailed information to multiple individuals/audiences withdiffering knowledge levels, both in writing and verbally

Bonus Points:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • People Management Experience

  • Strong understanding ofanalytics and ability to use multiple sources to build a selling story(i.e. Account data, Scan Data, POS Data and etc.)

THE FINER PRINT

It is highly preferred that ideal candidate will reside in the Chicago Metro area.

  • Up to 60% overnight travel maybe required, including some weekends

  • Ability to travelthroughout Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Minnesota, Wisconsin and other keylocations as needed.

  • This position providesparticipation in either the Kellogg Auto Reimbursement Program or a FleetVehicle Program.

  • Ability to drive to multiplelocations throughout a regular work day

  • Valid driver’s license andclean driving record
