HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Accountable for the execution of the Shopper/Category Management strategic plan that delivers against our Deploy for Growth targets.
Sales and Customer voice in the Brand Team, the Shopper/Category Management manager will build the commercial agenda and ensure that all activities developed in the Brand team will create value and reinforce our Category strategy
Deploy best-in-class customer and commercial strategies, innovation plans and ideas that are executed with excellence and deliver strong ROI.
Support Brand team on all activities by providing Commercial Assumptions built with each Market. Ensure Commercial sufficiency within all initiatives, plans and tactics; share and integrate Shopper/Category Management Expertise to the initiatives toolbox.
Partner with Markets (be the voice of the Country in the Brand team) to develop commercial plans to deliver yearly target and identify stretch opportunities
Build for respective Brand portfolio the Sales and Channel Strategy: Merchandising, Promo guidelines, Distribution by channel, pack size and pricing strategy
Track the performance of our initiatives, sharing fact-based insights to leadership, the regions and project teams
Gather and analyze consumer, customer, brand and business insights to develop commercial ideas that drive growth.
Understand and collaborate with Insights & Planning to develop joint research and apply insights to program/shopper solutions.
Partner with Customer teams, Supply chain, Marketing and Sales to ensure all challenges/inputs are considered in final plan delivery.
In collaboration with Supply Chain, manage portfolio and enhance new capabilities.
Build solid relationships with key customers based on multifunctional processes.
Closely collaborate with the Cat/Man teams in the countries and contribute to the business intervention plans as necessary
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
The ideal candidate should have 4 to 6 years FMCG industry experience with minimum 2-4 years of sales or Marketing experience. Category management experience would be beneficial.
Preferred Master Degree in Business Administration or related fields. Bachelor’s degree is required.
Proven ability to partner with the business and functions on International basis.
Multi-cultural sensitivity and ability to lead and apply excellence in execution thinking across multiple countries and functions for the purpose of driving alignment.
Strong numerical, analytical, interpersonal/communication and presentation skills.
Fluency in the English language is essential, ability to speak one or more additional European languages would be very beneficial.
Verbal and written communication as well as strong negotiation and influence skills towards middle management, representation of the organization, advanced tact and diplomacy.
Able to effectively engage with and influence business/functional leadership teams, commercial leads
Displays Courage and manages conflicting agendas through fact based resolution of debates
Financial acumen, ability to evaluate, interpret/translate financial impact, ROI and overall program performance
Demonstrated project management experience with expertise in managing multiple projects through competing and conflicting priorities and deadlines
Previous experience in creating marketing, sales, or communication strategy.
