HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

In this role you will be responsible for leading the co-ordination of Cereal sku availability for a specified set of markets from creation through demand / production / on time service to de-list while making best use of Supply Chain planning systems and processes. You will also provide EPA management with timely & accurate planning data to allow effective decision making on service at lowest cost.

  • You will act as the lead contact within EPA CSC (Cluster Supply Chain) for coordination of creation of new market sku or amending existing sku data and communicating time lines. You will also Understand and utilise sku 2 market processes, tools & systems to drive agreed and approved CBU (Cereal Business Unit) introductions / changes in market on time.

  • You will manage the European planning process to ensure accurate visibility is provided for European Demand Planning, accurate production needs for Plant Scheduling & accurate supply network plans for Supply Planning teams.

  • You will act as the primary contact between Demand Planning and Production Scheduling in plant to determine near term (13 week) demand change acceptance and approve / escalate as appropriate to meet service and financial targets.

  • You will monitor in market service SLA and responsible for conducting Root Cause Analysis and lead corrective actions to address deviations with Demand, Production or Supply teams as required.

  • You will manage product sourcing and re-sourcing in light of new plant capacity strategies, annual production budget reviews, capacity pinch points, co-manufacturing changes etc. Review and recommend sourcing changes to EPA management based on knowledge of market being serviced, transport options etc.

  • You will work with the European Inventory and Space Manager to develop inventory and deployment strategies to meet business service and financial objectives and lead the execution of plans through local production & supply planning teams.

  • You will lead CSC actions in managing de-listing of skus in market and co-ordinate timing between market, production & supply teams to ensure on time removal with minimal materials write-offs.

  • As part of the IPL team, you will execute critical weekly / monthly / quarterly EPA processes to provide key management reports and KPIs to allow for effective and timely CSC decision making to deliver both service and financial objectives.

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

  • Preferably educated to degree level, ideally in a numerate or related discipline

  • Hands on employment experience using SAP - APO (SNP/DP) and has a strong understanding of the demand, production & supply processes and requirements in a fast moving consumer goods environment

  • Strong customer focus, great organisational and data analytical skills with drive and determination for improvement

  • Excellent communication skills and capable of influencing in a multicultural environment

  • Ability to work under pressure of conflicting demands and time constraints
