Kellogg Team Lead, Talent Acquisition Strategic Operations in GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan

As Team Lead, Talent Acquisition Strategic Operations, you will be a key member of the TA leadership team. In this role you will be responsible for driving operational effectiveness while managing KNA TA Operations team members and processes.   • Leadership – Bring your passion for people management as you’ll mentor and coach team members by identifying best practices, providing guidance, direction, and training for future career growth opportunities. You’ll play an important role to provide leadership for delivering consistent and reliable team performance – including overseeing the Coordinator and scheduling duties. You’ll play a critical role to build strategies to address current and future HR talent needs.

  • Operations Support – Hope you enjoy shaping success! In this role you’ll implement, execute and manage recruitment platforms that support Talent Acquisition Operations and business objectives. This includes managing internal company guidelines to include regulatory requirements and staying abreast of industry legal implications. You’ll be responsible to consistently meet compliance measures and fulfill service level agreements. You’ll be accountable to achieve and sustain best practices in effectiveness, customer experience, quality delivery and efficiency within a strong internal control framework.

  • Customer Focus & Partnerships – Bring your collaborative spirit as you’ll partner with internal and external customers, at all levels to identify trends, propose strategies, and resolve issues. You’ll be accountable to promote a customer-centered culture serving as a consultant to internal/external customers, striving to exceed customer needs, requirements, and expectations. You’ll drive engagement as you’ll manage vendor relationships, integration of 3rd party tools, assess new technologies, and provide process and tool recommendations – with heavy emphasis on background check provider/vendor. Bring your strategic mindset, as you’ll build strategies to address current and future Operational talent needs. Hope you have an appetite for success….. As you’ll contribute to a team environment that is focused on high performance and operational excellence.

  • Enhance Performance & Process – Bring your owner’s mindset as you’ll own the insights and analytics of the entire KNA TA Team to include reporting out on trends, SLAs and KPIs. You’ll play a critical role in overseeing the development of the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the TA Operations Team. Hope you enjoy driving change! As you’ll identify continuous improvement opportunities to drive efficiencies and decrease costs.



  • Previous candidate management experience

  • Experience managing a team

  • Demonstrated knowledge of recruitment and selection techniques and requirements, federal selection guidelines, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices

  • Exhibit knowledge of hiring practices, behavioral-based interview techniques, tracking processes for applicants and open positions, and recruiting metrics

  • High School diploma or GED

Bonus Points:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field

  • Experience at a large multi-national consumer packaged goods company

  • Experience working to service level agreements in a customer driven environment

  • Proven skills in applicant tracking systems, preferably Taleo
