HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Keeping The Lights On - You will be responsible for emergency services 24/7. You will need a firm focus, understanding and continuous improvement to utilities and facilities. Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, refrigeration, boiler and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of utilities and facility machines.
Managing People - Manage six technicians’ that work on a 24-hour basis to perform scheduled maintenance repairs of utilities and facility equipment. Review and improve preventive maintenance and predictive maintenance on plant assets.
Analyzing Conditions and Providing Solutions - Identify and examine production equipment failures to understand root cause analysis, with the help of interpreting schematics and drawings. Read and interprets equipment manuals, piping diagrams, blue prints, electrical schematics and work orders to perform required maintenance.
Prioritizing Innovation and Communication - Actively seeking ways to improve safety, plant efficiency and lower overall asset maintenance costs by keeping an open dialogue with other plant personnel on a day-to-day basis.
Managing Predictive Maintenance Programs & Projects - Managing the plant’s lubrication program and completing small process improvement projects as assigned.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
High School diploma or GED
Ability to work extended work schedules, daily and weekend overtime
Proven ability to work well independently and as a member of a team
Experience and ability to work in fast paced environment
Strong written & verbal communication skills
Relevant Utilities maintenance related experience
Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) Experience
Project Management Experience
Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) Experience
Experience in a Union Environment
Experience in food manufacturing plants
Boiler Operator Certification
Machinery Lubrication Technician – Level 1
UT Technician – Level 1
Waste Water Operator Certification
Air Compressor knowledge / certification
