Kellogg Logistics Technician (Supervisor) in LANCASTER, Pennsylvania

As a Logistics Technician/Supervisor at our Lancaster, PA facility you provide overall guidance and resolution for all technical aspects of the distribution and planning areas. These areas include, but are not limited to, DM+, SAP, ID Systems, Automated Guided Vehicles and Ecc’tric. You will be the single point of contact for all AGV discussions on shift. HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Strategize to Win - Provide leadership and resolution regarding safety, food safety and operational issues as it pertains to the warehouse

  • Insight Drive - Provide leadership and resolution on all technical issues for DM+, SAP, ID Systems including AGV service provider contacts and follow-up

  • Collaborate to Win - Supervision and accountability for hourly warehouse employees including coordination of departmental training

  • Drive Efficiency - Continually analyze and evaluate the effective utilization of the automated warehouse functions as it relations to shift operational requirements

  • Fresh Thinking - Assist and take the lead on assignments and projects assigned by the Operations Services Manager and the Logistics Technical Manager

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

Required

  • Work in conditions that include multiple, and frequent conflicting priorities and schedules

  • Ability to work in extreme heat and cool environments and handle occasional strenuous physical activity with or without accommodations

  • Ability to be lift truck certified

  • Ability to push/pull unit loads into alignment

  • Create multi-shift strategies around automated unit load delivery and manual loading restrictions

  • Accurately assess data for short term problem solving is essential

  • Professional communication skills including excellent written and verbal skills

Bonus Points

  • Experience in Logistics or a Manufacturing Technical Background

  • SAP Experience

  • Working knowledge of AGVs
