ABOUT THE ROLE
In your role as Category Executive, you will work within an energetic business team focused on driving strategic growth for Kellogg in 2019 and beyond. In this role you will be owning the category analysis insight & merchandising, as well as developing customer opportunities
HERE'SA TASTE OF WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Responsibility forkey strategic customers, supporting buyers and account managers by buildingcompelling category recommendations to grow category sales.
Supporting thewider team with market and retailer insight to aid implementation of newKellogg strategies.
Category and inmarket reporting to identify relevant insights that drive our businessperformance.
Lead the internalNPD, promotion, distribution and competitor tracking to aid business decisionsand build category recommendations.
As a key member ofour team, you will be an expert on your category area, working cross functionallywith the sales teams, marketing and commercial teams to champion ideas thatdrive Kellogg's and Category growth.
Embed CategoryManagement across the team to increase sales and achieve customer businesstargets.
Plan, influenceand flawlessly execute range updates and range reviews in line with Kellogg'sand customer objectives.
Lead and executeour merchandising strategy, focusing on translating consumer occasion ledinsight into relevant fixture segmentation, flow and multi-location productsiting.
Be the voice ofthe customer and channel internally to ensure Kellogg strategies are deliveringwhat is needed to win at point of purchase.
Manage our productportfolio within customers to grow our distribution to drive category andKellogg's sales.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
Previous FMCG retail experience within Field Sales and/or Head Office
Ability to influence people with an external and consumer focus
Good analytical and communication skills
Specific interest in category management and branded products
Experience of working within a team and ability to manage different priorities
Category Management experience
Experience with using IRI, Kantar or Neilson and Merchandising software
Business related degree or equivalent
