We have an opening for you to grow with us as European Senior Technical Services Manager, in Media City, Manchester, UK. This critical role will position Kellogg’s for the future by developing strategic roadmaps to support growth initiatives and to continue to develop our IT portfolio across the European Region.
HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
The Senior IT Technical Manager owns the delivery of Workplace and Infrastructure solutions across Europe aligning with global technical strategy/standards. You will lead a team of engineers who are augmented by project engineers to deliver technical solutions. The Senior IT Technical Manager role will offer a large scope for creative innovation freedom using previously acquired skills/ experience. The role requires someone with proven experience of delivering large infrastructure and workplace initiatives as well as proven technical capability to define strategies across all areas.
In your role as a European Senior Technical Services Manager, you will help Kellogg to continue to grow our business and build on our success by ensuring the delivery of consistent and high-quality Infrastructure and Workplace initiatives at each location across Europe through:
Own the lifecycle of IT Infrastructure/ Workplace initiatives from inception and design, through to completion and transition into business as usual. Track and demonstrate progress at all stages.
Define European roadmaps for Infrastructure and Workplace with a focus on a 2-5 year plan to reducing technical debt whilst support business growth
Building and maintaining relationships across the global business and IT functions, to facilitate project delivery and business change.
Working with project managers and global technical delivery teams to ensure that all infrastructure requirements are factored into the evaluation, selection, installation and configuration of hardware, applications and software
Support digital transformation across the European business
Work with key vendors to develop and strengthen partnerships to support business growth
Ensure that Kellogg IT Change management practices are maintained and updated in accordance with global standards. Maintain a level of compliance appropriate to Kellogg.
Driving continuous improvement and improving customer satisfaction for IT Workplace services delivered to Europe.Demonstrate to stakeholders that appropriate controls are in place and own/create actions plans to manage improvement or change these where necessary.
Part of the on-call team to manage European business communications required during major incidents

IT leadership experience with 8+ years focused on IT Infrastructure specifically networking and compute/storage.
A strong understanding Digital Workplace / Infrastructure technologies including (but not limited to) Skype for Business, Office 365, Cisco/ Aruba, SD-WAN, SIP telephony, Citrix,Rubrik, Cloud migration
Proven experience of driving digital transformation.
Experience of working within in a remote team, working with outsourced teams and within cloud architecture
Experience developing and maintaining policies, procedures, standards and guidelines
Show strong communication and interpersonal skills, particularly when engaging and dealing with customers and third parties. You should demonstrate a genuine interest in people and be able to flex your communication style to suit both technical and non-technical audiences.
Establish an enthusiastic and creative approach to Workplace improvement, with a natural ability to influence and engage others with involvement, action and responsibility.
A proven ability to work in a collaborative style, building and developing effective customer and service provider relationships
Strong reporting and analytical skills together with strong communication and presentation skills
Need to provide out of hours cover in case of Critical Incidents, as the role will be the escalation point for the managers on-call.
Ability to travel within Europe and internationally as business needs require
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
