HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Record keeping - Managing, maintaining and auditing employee health records to ensure continuity of care, employee confidentiality and feedback to management, in compliance with government regulations, company policy and applicable Standards of Professional Practice and Codes of Ethics
Providing Employee Care - Providing individual counseling sessions to employees on health maintenance, results of health screenings and health promotion activities. Providing on-site emergency care to employees within the guidelines of written medical orders and managing chronic health care of employees within the guidelines of written medical orders, health assessment, and referral
Maintenance - Coordinating and maintaining Plant EHS & wellness programs including but not limited to, medical management, employee health & productivity programs, Workers Compensation reporting and case coordination, OSHA reporting and recordkeeping, employee assistance programs, Family Medical Leave, (FMLA), short and long term disability case management
Prioritizing quality, safety and housekeeping - Working collaboratively with Human Resources and Labor Relations on any issues impacting employee performance as related to medical/health/disability issues while supporting the EHS Manager in administering environmental, health, and safety programs and initiatives as assigned
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following disciplines: Medical, Occupational Health, Environmental Sciences (and or related)
Significant experience with Health & Safety in a manufacturing setting
Working knowledge of Safety and Environmental Regulations
Strong technical abilities with demonstrated experience with MS Office
Bonus Points:
Experience leading safety committees
EMT or Advanced Medical Certification
Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following disciplines. Environmental Sciences, Occupational Health, Safety (or related)
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated organizational, research and analytical skills
Working knowledge of SAP, OSHA, and Workers Compensation
