This is accomplished by creating brand growth strategies and the long-term business plan, translating those into actionable annual brand plans, identifying consumer white spaces, and implementing programs to take advantage of those opportunities. This includes Strategy Creation, Brand Planning, Marketing Communications, and supporting Innovation, Commercial Strategy, and Research, as required.

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Business Strategy Focus - Responsible for the development and execution of marketing /brand strategies and implementation of brand plans on category leading brands. Translate the brand's business strategies into compelling business briefs, grounded in consumer insights, and working with agency teams to develop, execute and track a Marketing Communications plans that deliver the brands’ goals, objectives, and strategies.

  • Promotions - Support achievement of volume and profitability targets by monitoring brand and competitive trade, consumer and promotion activity and creating actions to address implications.

  • Project Management - Manage projects that improve the business both short and long term such as reformulations, packaging changes, format adjustments, and innovations through leading cross functional teams. Cultivate strong working relationships with both internal (sales, R&D, operations etc.) and external (agency, research house, packaging designs/suppliers, etc.) support groups.

  • Communication and Strategy - Develop creative in conjunction with Associate Director, Marketing to ensure effective consumer communication. Ensure spending strategies and trades executions are in line to grow the business by collaborating with sales to analyze the business and develop action plans. Additionally, you will ppositively contribute towards increasing the cohesiveness of the Marketing group/Company and taking personal accountability to help raise its effectiveness

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

Required:

  • University undergraduate degree with a focus on business/marketing and/or equivalent work experience

  • 1-2 years of Brand Marketing and/or related experience in a Consumer Packaged Goods company at Brand Manager or equivalent level

  • Experience in strategy development and managing creative agencies

  • Excellent communication and persuasion skills, combined with strong leadership and interpersonal skills

  • We need your strong analytical, organizational and time management skills
