HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Expertise in Shopper Marketing - Defining the strategic direction for the Shopper Marketing function. Leading, coordinating and executing programs for the in-store and customer specific programs along the path to purchase. Working to identify and develop new opportunities to support retailer programs and brand activation plans
Leadership & Collaboration - Leading the Shopper Marketing Activation team performance in the specific areas of strategic development, in-store, merchandising, customer specific and national shopper events.
Expansion & Partnership - Developing and collaborating with Brand Marketing & Sales on shopper marketing activation plans creating and communicating written briefs for strategic and creative development internally and externally and critique creative development against assigned briefs; managing communication and alignment across key cross-functional stakeholders including brand marketing, sales, category management, consumer promotion, legal, shopper insights and agency partners. Leadership of external partnership opportunities with adjacent category manufacturers, while collaborating with shopper insights in order to provide relevant, compelling and actionable support platforms and program recommendations
Tracking Success - Monitoring and controlling expense budgets and metrics for shopper marketing programs and initiatives while you complete pre and post analysis of programing and perform competitive analysis
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
University degree in Business Administration or Marketing
Experience in Shopper Marketing
Proven project management skills
Superior networking capabilities
Proven people management experience
Strong analytical skills and a high proficiency in excel, word, and PowerPoint
Breakthrough communication track record both verbal and written
Excellent presentation skills
Understanding of CDN retailer strategy and tactics
Related CPG experience in marketing with cross functional experience in account management, and/or trade marketing
Knowledge of retail customer base, retail buying dynamics, and shopper behavior metrics
Understanding of consumer/shopper based analytical systems and tools (ex. Nielsen, Shopper Segmentation, etc.)
Knowledge of SAP
