HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Analyzing Data & Trends – You’ll be the team’s primary analytic resource, evaluating Nielsen data with focus on pricing, promotion and performance. We’re looking to you to identify key sales and forecast results with regular reporting out to the broader team. Kellogg’s, Nielsen and customer business reporting for the Dollar General team are a few of the areas where you’ll be the expert. Does this bring out the Tiger in you?
Leading Insights – As the expert on our sales metrics, you will work closely with Account Executives, Sales Directors and Category Management to review business trends and provide your input on opportunities to improve profit and gross sales volume. Got an idea? We want to hear it as you’ll be an integral part of the team!
Maximize Business Processes – You’ll utilize retailer and Kellogg’s systems to set up items, promotions and projects. You’ll build tools to aid the sales team’s business understanding. You’ll track key performance metrics like Sales and Share Growth, Key Item Forecasts and Plans, and inventory and opportunity assessment. You’ll also have a strong voice through our weekly and monthly deliverables while adding in some ad-hoc projects. Our success is shaped by you.
Project and Initiatives Analysis – We get better by looking at our past and building our future. We need your insights and learnings from past projects, initiatives and programs to help us formulate the next idea. Can you help us out?
Leading Customer Event Activation – You’ll have the opportunity to get involved and lead many exciting customer events in Nashville, TN. Do you want to test your skills at organizing and leading events while working with the team at our most important engagement activities?
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
High School Degree/GED
Experience in an analytical role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with strong technical ability in Excel and experience building PowerPoint presentations
Ability to manage multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities, extended work schedules and specific time constraints
Demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly
Previous experience communicating complex and/or detailed information to multiple individuals/audiences with differing knowledge levels, both verbally and in writing
Advanced technical ability in Nielsen, Customer Data Systems, Power Point, Tableau
Understanding of promotional strategies, concepts and management
Understanding of Supply Chain interaction with Sales
