Kellogg Area Sales Manager (GT) in PUNE, India
As ASM - GT, you will be:
- Responsible for maximizing Sales, Distribution, Product visibility & display related objectives through leveraging the planned resources & infrastructure at the Area Level with in the values and parameters set by the company.
In your role as a General Trade-ASM at Kellogg, you will be part of our success by:
Anchoring achievement of Volume and Value targets by Month, QTR & Year.
Planning and Forecasting.
Ensuring delivery of process KPI.
Coach field force to improve sales capabilities to achieve executional excellence through planned field contacts.
Pioneering executional excellence by building sales capabilities through coaching of field force.
Ensuring Targeted distribution &display in his area as per Targets given.
Execute trade marketing initiatives thru field force.
Achieving control targets in terms of FG&A and overheads.
Ensuring the right calibre people are motivated and trained to achieve ambitious business plans consistently.
Demonstrating exemplary leadership behaviour by providing return on investment to stakeholders through continuous monitoring of agreed norms and service levels.

As well as a hunger to learn and succeed in General Trade, to be considered for this position you must be able to meet the following requirements:
MBA from Premier B School.
Excellent understanding of Sales, Methods & Processes.
Fluent in English language.
Minimum 4 yrs. of Sales experience in a FMCG environment having managed front line sales team as ASM.
Understand various evolving channels of trade.
Experience of managing General Trade at area level.
What Else Do I Need To Know?
Reports To - Associate Director Sales – North.
Reportee - AM and TSI
Dimensions of the role:
- Consistency and quality of performance. Growth trends. Key initiatives take to develop business.
Generally operating from a state HQ / CFA town.
Job involves close to 18 days of field contact. High physical energy is important.
Also manages the consumer issues if any.
Needs to work in a matrix work culture.
