Kellogg Foreign Trade Manager in QUERÉTARO, Mexico

Grow with us as a Foreign Trade Customer Manager in the Kellogg LA Team . You will be responsible for the Deploy for Growth Booster of Perfect Service and Perfect Store by optimizing international deliveries across the region with operational excellence in order to deliver savings while increasing customer engagement and complying with Foreign Trade regulations accross Latin America

WHAT DO I NEED?

  • This person must manage a balance between legislation and customer service, open mind and creative enough to build strategies in order to achieve this balance.

  • Experience in customs legislation and certifications in supply chain security.

  • Experience in customer service.

  • Experience managing all types of transport

  • Must know how to create and manage budgets.

  • Experience managing carriers or customs brokers.

  • Calculate import and export costs.

  • Experience in supplying imported raw material and pack to plants.

  • Experience leading teams.

  • Experience managing IMMEX desirable.

  • Experience in certification IVA-IEPS desirable.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

In this role, you will be part of our success by:

  • To manage import and exports strategies of finished goods for customers and raw material, packing and MRO’s for plants which deliver savings across the region.

  • To define and execute disruptive logistical optimization and foreign trade programs for the region which deliver savings.

  • To implement, keep and communicate logistics and foreign trade regional kpi’s and implement improvement plans derived from the control of those kpi’s.

  • To lead cross-border certifications in security in exports as C-TPAT and OEA for plants and distribution centers across the region in order to reduce lead-times and deliver cost avoidance.

  • To manage and execute collaborative programs with international customers and distributors that contribute to savings and profits for both parties generating long-term engagement.

  • To manage international ocean carriers, over-the-road carriers, freight forwarders and customs brokers along the region to ensure business continuity.

  • To ensure, through imports and exports,, customs compliance and free trade agreements in LA which provide annual cost avoidance of 500 k USD.

  • To manage Foreign Trade controllable budget (OVH) to align it to ZBB policies and business challenges.

  • To manage import planned expense of raw material and export expenses for the plants in the region.

  • To manage the relationship between CS&L-Supply Planning with Pringles manufacturing plants to guarantee on-time deliveries, alignment to forecast, service and regulatory controls.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?

As well as a hunger to learn and succeed to be considered for this position you must be able to meet the following requirements:

Required:

  • Bachelor of Science inIndustrial Engineering, International Business, Logistics or Management.

  • MBA orMaster’s Degree preferred

  • Bilingualin English and Spanish (Portuguese is a plus).

  • Must. 10years+ of experience managing Foreign Trade, Logistics, Customer Service and/orcustoms compliance.

  • Alsopreferred: Minimum 10 years of experience managing End-to-End Supply Chain,Operations and Processes

  • Proficientat Excel and Power Point

  • SAP is a plus
