Our Insights & Planning team are an integral part of our Head Office function, they produce facts based consumer, shopper and category insights that help influence our strategic vision. As an Analyst in this team, supporting our Snacks business, you will work closely with our Marketing, Category Management and Sales teams. Carrying out analysis from various sources including scanned data, consumer and shopper intel’ to deliver insights to the business that help grow our brands and categories.
More specifically the role will entail:
Mining andgeneration of data, data analysis, data modelling and data driven insights andrecommendations across the Category, Consumer, Customer & Shopper space todeliver facts, insights and recommendations.
Useanalytics and insights to enhance decision making and maximise businessopportunities enabling Category, Sales, Marketing teams and other key stakeholdersto develop Category, Consumer, Customer and Shopper understanding
Build andmaintain collaborative relationships with colleagues within the team as well ascross-functionally to ensure shared objectives are clear, communication is openand insights and recommendations provided are understood
Provide regular and ad hoc reports as requested andrequired by the business (global, regional and local), checking reports fordata quality and errors and ensuring reports have up-to-date information
Manage Kellogg’sonline communities, including questionnaire development, scripting andreporting, to deliver brand, consumer & shopper insights to the business ina timely manner
Conduct end-to-end management of research projectsunder the guidance of the Insight Manager as well as provide support on larger scale projects
Skills, experience & attributes sought:
Degree qualified in Business, Statistics, Economics or Marketing, you will have strong Excel and Powerpoint skills and ideally previous experience using IRI or Nielsen data. Previous experience of quantitative and/or qualitative research (including survey design) is desirable (but not essential) in an analytical role is essential and you will have a strong ability to think creatively to deliver insights back to the business that hit the mark.
With strong written and verbal communication skills you will enjoy working in a fast paced environment.
You will work across multiple data projects so will need strong organisational skills with the ability to be able to prioritise tasks in order to meet deadlines.
